the past few months i've been racking up my own list of YA reads, especially realistic YA reads. (i'll be honest, many titles are still on my TBR list.  i can't wait to devour them though!)   i'll share my list with you!

    4. This is a great list. I'd love to see more YA contemporary in the marketplace. I don't think all this paranormal dystopian stuff is healthy in such large doses! :)

    6. I loved Story of a Girl and I love everything Sarah Dessen! But there are a whole bunch on here I haven't read - many I haven't heard of (gasp!) - so thanks so much for sharing!

    12. I've read SEVERAL (and own) on this list--and yep, all those Sarah Dessen novels. Don't forget "That Summer"! And Deb Caletti! Her books are great, too. :o)
